Return to an AZ mine 4/12/14

Tinight CSPI will be returning to a mine we have been investigating for the past few weeks. On the first 2 visits it was operating. But tonight we will be returning to the mine while shut down. We have already gathered some compelling evidence. So tonights return should be very interesting. We hope to gather more EVPs this time. Given the history of the location I don't think we will be disapointed.

A night on the Queen Mary

12/28/13

This is a picture of me at door #13 on the Queen Mary. We had taken the tour and then returned later on our own to do an EVP session and some video work. We also spent time at other "hot" locations around the ship that night. I hope to return with my team next time. The ship was amazing. I can't wait to go back and spend more time.

Have a Great Day!

A visit to the Hotel Vendom

11-12-13

I was fortunate enough to sneak out of warm Tucson a couple weeks ago and spend a couple days in the beautiful mountains of Prescott, Az. Now as a paranormal investigator I of course had to find a place to stay that had reports of unusual activity lol. I decided on The Hotel Vendome, for I had heard from a few people that when they stayed there they had some strange things happen to them. Now if you ever get to Prescott, this place is great, full of history, built in 1917 it still has the charm of long lost days. I truly loved the atmosphere and the Hostess of the place was a sweetheart! When you first walk into the Vendome, you immediately have a sense that you are not alone, but it is a soft, quiet feeling, or I guess maybe just a sense of knowing. My experience here happened at around 2:30 a.m. I was suddenly awakened by a sense that I could not breathe,,,,and I felt as I tried to sit up that I was being held. I was able to come to a sitting position gasping, feeling like I was drowning in my own lungs,, and then I saw her, a woman who I would say was in her 50's, a long dress or nightdress that was light in color and had a higher collar to it,, I remember her hair was a mottled brown and it was unkept,,, she was just staring at me but her arms were positioned in a way that I kept wondering what she was holding, I tried to ask who she was but could not speak,, she turned walked through the door into the hotel hallway, at that moment my breathing became my own and all feelings of her dissipated. I jumped up, grabbed my camera, opened the door to take some pictures (thankfully there were no other guests wandering around, lol) but she was gone,,, and my camera would not shoot!! What was really strange is that when I had lay down to go to sleep I turned on my recorder, it shut itself off after five minutes. Now, being an empathic sensitive I understood all of this, so I was not frightened once I realized where the physical sensations were coming from, but it would be fun to do some research on the Vendome and see if we could find out who this woman is and how she may have passed...... sooooo if any of you wonderful people would like to put your detective skills to work and see if you can find anything out I think that would be fun,,, you can share here on the page or via private message,,, so go for it and see how to put your skills at becoming an investigator to work CSPI Dodie

The Stanley

Canyon States investigator Laura spends a night at the Stanley. Read about her night in the infamous room 417. The room that inspired Steven King to write "The Shinning"

On October 7th and 8th I had a wonderful stay at The Stanely Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. I had been loelt like being watched the entire time. I ran my digital recorder, while reviewing my audio, I had captured a male voice answering me when I said " I appreciate you sharing your room with me" the male voice responded " no you don't". I then heard later in the recording a woman speaking another language, possibly French. I look forward to returning to The Stanley Hotel in the near future. After just one night there, I believe there are many spirits roaming the long halls and hope many of you have a chance to one day stay the night at The Stanley Hotel.Looking forward to my trip for months, excited to see and stay in the notoriously haunted hotel. I was surprised and excited to hear upon my arrival that the hotel had booked me to stay on the 4th floor, known for being the most spiritually active of all of the floors n the hotel. My room, 417, was very comfortable and nice, overlooking the front of the hotel with a fabulous view of The Rocky Mountains. First off, from the minute I entered my room it felt like I was being watched, not threatened, just watched, as if whatever was there was sizing me up to see if I was worthy of their making themselves known to me. The hotel is very old and makes the obvious creaks and moans that old buildings make.....but.....there was also something else in my room that would walk in front of the door, making a creak that sounded a little like pacing with a short pause in front of the handle. Occasionally the pacing would move over to one side of the bed, only to move back in front of the door. From the faucet in my bathroom turning on by itself to faint noises coming from the closet and the pacing in front of the door, my attention was riveted until dinner time. I decided to have dinner downstairs in the hotel restaurant, before leaving I placed a few items on my dresser such as a pair of earrings, some change and a small bottle of lotion just to see if whomever was in my room wanted to move them around while I was gone. I took a picture of the items before I left and upon returning nothing had been moved. The pacing remained the entire night and while the general feeling in the room was calm and not threatening, I still felt like being watched the entire time. After just one night there, I believe there are many spirits roaming the long halls and hope many of you have a chance to one day stay the night at The Stanley Hotel.

San Carlos Mission in Ca.

April 22, 2013

These pictures were taken during a visit to the San Carlos Mission, Ca.  while I was on vacation. It was a casual stop during a short drive down the coast highway. But being an investigator I'm always looking for more than just a family picture. Althought I wasn't really expecting anything I discoverd I had caught something after we had left the mission. I was using my Galexy 3 phone to take pictures inside and around the gardens. I like my phone because it re sets fast and its quality is more than acceptable for this type of photography. This room was the last one before exiting the building through the gift shop. There are no lights or glass anywhere near this room. I have no explanation for this anomoly.

Members from CSPI kick back a bit for a new equipment night.

So Dodie and I just finnished an interview with Experience Arizona at the the Steam Pump Ranch here in Oro Valley. It was an awesome interview. We discussed the various experience of the employees and ourselves. It is  an interesting piece of history and we will continue to investigate this location. we hope to catch much more evidence in the future. we will also continue to seek out these places.

Steam Pump Ranch.

Steam Pump Ranch is located in Oro Vally Az. With a history that dates back to the old days of cowboy's and gangsters. It is a hot spot for the paranormal. We were invited to do an investigation by Warren Lazzar, a member of the historical society.  Warren has maintained that there are ghosts on the ranch. So he invited us to do and investigation. Most of the evidence we colected that day was inconclusive, but we pland to continue to investigate this site.
